how it works

Step 1:

reference image(s)

Gather your

To create your artwork, I work from photography supplied by you. Images need to be clear and of a high quality with the vehicle in the position you wish your bespoke digital artwork to be created.

The image(s) supplied need permission from the owner. If you are the owner of the vehicle(s) and have purchased the images from a photographer or taken them yourself then nothing more is required. If you are not the owner of the vehicle I will need written consent from the owner to use the image as a reference to create the illustration. JKP Art Commissions will accepts no liability for copyright infringement.

If you do not have suitable images of your vehicle, I may be able to travel to your location to photograph it for you. This service is quoted individually and is dependent on the distance you are from me. In this instance all images will be taken with a professional DSLR camera, the images will then belong to you and will be used for the creation of your artwork.

Step 2:

The brief

Once I have received and assessed your photographs, we will have chat about your artwork either via email or I will give you a call.

This will allow us to talk through the style and specific details you would like included or omitted in the artwork.

Step 3:

Sizes and costs

To help you decide which size you would like, below is a set of guide prices.

A4 framed single-vehicle – £345.00

A3 framed single-vehicle – £355.00

A2 framed single-vehicle – £380.00

If you require any additional vehicles to be drawn within the same piece of artwork, I would be happy to discuss this with you and  to quote accordingly.

You can also have your frame customised to match your artwork as shown here, we can chat through the options available at briefing stage.

Step 4:

Quoting

Once steps 1 to 3 are complete, I will put together a quote and T&Cs document for you to look through.

When the quote has been agreed a 25% deposit will be required before work commences. The timeframe for completion will be discussed with you at this stage.

Step 5:

Approval

Upon completion of your artwork, I will send you a digital water-marked proof for approval prior to printing.

At this stage any final changes can be actioned, following which a final

proof will be re-supplied.

Step 6:

Printing

The papers I use to print your artwork are chosen to complement my printer and ink type.

They have a special coating to fully accept the ink whilst remaining pin sharp in detail and colour vibrancy.

The inks are pigment-based to ensure long-lasting richness for years to come.
